APPLE CRUMBLE 
Apple Filling (below) or 1 (21 oz.) can fruit pie filling (any flavor)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 13"x9"x2" rectangular pan. Prepare Apple Filling; cool slightly.

Mix brown sugar and butter; stir in baking mix and oats until crumbly. Press half of the crumbly mixture in pan; top with Apple Filling.

Top with remaining crumbly mixture; press lightly. Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.

Serve warm or chilled and if desired, with ice cream.

12 servings.

APPLE FILLING:

3 1/2 c. finely chooolpped pared apples (about 4 med.)
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. Bisquick baking mix
2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Toss all ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 8 to 10 minutes.
