WHISKEY CAKE 
1 box of yellow cake mix with no pudding
1 box instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. milk
1 1/2 oz. of whiskey (1/4 c.)
Walnuts, crushed (optional)

Mix all together. Hand mix for three minutes on low setting. Using tube shaped pan, grease well. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 stick of butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. whiskey

Melt butter in saucepan, add sugar and whiskey. Cook until sugar is dissolved and syrupy.

Remove cake from oven, poke holes with fork all around the cake. Pour topping over cake. Leave cake in pan until ready to serve.
