1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, brown sugar and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. (Dough will flatten and spread.) Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until set. About 3 dozen.
