CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. white sugar
5 eggs
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sweet milk

Cream together butter, Crisco, sugar and salt. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Add flour, cocoa and milk; stir in vanilla. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted come s out clean, completely cool.

FROSTING:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together sugar, butter, cocoa, egg, lemon juice and vanilla until well blended. Then frost cooled pound cake.
