BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices white bread, crusts removed & buttered on 1 side
1 lb. breakfast sausage, cooked & drained
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 c. half & half
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
9 oz. frozen or canned asparagus, thawed, drained & chopped
3 oz. black olives, chopped & drained

Line bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish with the slices of bread, buttered side up. Spread browned sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese over sausage, then mix remaining ingredients together and spread over cheese. Chill overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
