BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices white bread, crusts removed and buttered on 1 side
1 lb. breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 c. half & half
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
2 oz. sliced pimentos, drained
9 oz. frozen (or canned) asparagus, thawed, drained, and chopped
3 oz. black olives, chopped and drained

Line the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish with the slices of bread, buttered side up. Spread the browned sausage evenly over the bread. Sprinkle the cheese over the sausage, then mix remaining ingredients together and spread over the cheese. Chill overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes; serve hot.
