MEAT LOAF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. ground pork 1/2 lb. veal 3 slices dry bread 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 2 tbsp. horseradish 1 c. milk 1 can tomato soup, undiluted Bring milk to boil and cool slightly. Skim off top skin. In large bowl crumble the dry bread into the warm milk. Add 2 eggs, baking powder, and all the other ingredients except the tomato soup. Blend well. Form into a meat loaf. Top with the tomato soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. |
