1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 c. salad oil 1 c. rolled oats 1 c. crushed corn flakes 1/2 c. shredded coconut 1/2 c. walnuts 3 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, mixing well, then salad oil, mixing well. Add oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts, stirring well. Then add flour, soda, salt and vanilla. Form small balls, place on ungreased baking sheet; flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes. Makes 4 to 4 1/2 dozen with small scoop. |
