CAROLINA CORN DOGS 
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. onion, grated
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1 lb. frankfurters

Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, mustard and onion together. Combine egg and milk. Mix with dry ingredients. Roll frankfurters in dough mixture. Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
