GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter flavor
1 bar German chocolate

Melt chocolate over double boiler or in microwave, stirring until smooth. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together dry ingredients; add all of buttermilk and beat in sifted flour mixture. Add both flavorings; add melted chocolate last, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 300 degrees.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
