HAMBURGER POTATO PIE 
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. bread crumbs (optional)
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Mix together. Press firmly into pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat, then spread remaining 1/2 can of cream of mushroom soup on top. Spread 2 cups of mashed potatoes over soup and top with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
