MY MOTHER'S (GOLDIE WENRICK)
LEMON SPONGE PIE
 
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. lemon rind, grated
Juice of 1 lemon

Beat all together and add 1-1/2 cups of milk. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Bake in 1 crust until done, about 45 minutes in 350 degree oven.
