ROMAN HOLIDAY BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. oregano OR basil
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 (8 oz.) pkgs. wide egg noodles
1/2 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausages
1 c. water
1 can tomato soup
4 slices cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to directions on package. Drain and set aside. In skillet brown beef. Add sausage and onion and oregano and cook until beef and sausage are cooked. Pour off fat.

Add soups and water. Chill overnight. In separate container, chill cooked noodles overnight.

Combine meat mixture and noodles and place in 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover with foil. Place in cold (NOT preheated) oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until hot. (If using glass dish, bake at 325 degrees.) Remove foil, stir mixture. Top with cheese and bake until cheese melts.
