7 to 8 slices bread (crusts removed) 7 eggs 2 c. milk Salt and pepper 8 slices ham 8 slices American cheese Place bread slices, buttered on both sides in buttered oblong dish or cake pan. Mix eggs with milk; add salt and pepper. Place a ham slice and a cheese slice on each piece of bread. Pour egg mixture over bread, ham and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Uncover and brown for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut in 6 or 8 pieces to serve. |
