CHEESE BROCCOLI SOUP 
2 c. fresh broccoli pieces
1 med. onion, quartered
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning, if desired
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
Dash of pepper
1/4 c. pasteurized process cheese spread, Cheez Whiz

1. Combine broccoli, onion, half of chicken broth and the seasoning in 2 quart glass mix `n pour bowl. Cover with plastic wrap.

2. Microwave, high, 8-9 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Let stand 5 minutes. Pour mixture into blender or food processor container. Cover and process at medium speed until smooth. Return mixture to mix `n pour bowl. Combine milk and flour until smooth. Blend into hot vegetable mixture. Add pepper.

3. Microwave, high, uncovered, 3-4 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring twice. Stir in cheese spread until blended. Mix in remaining chicken broth. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
