CRISP GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Form into balls the size of walnuts. Dip cookie in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes (watch closely).
