APPLE CREAM PIE 
TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour (or less)
1 tsp. cinnamon
Chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 c. butter

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 1/2-3 c. diced apples
1 (9 inch) pie shell

Mix sugar, flour, sour cream, egg, vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth. Add apples and mix. Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Mix topping ingredients. Sprinkle on hot pie and return to oven for 10 minutes. Cool pie. Serve slightly warm or chilled.
