1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Butter Flavor Crisco
1 c. applesauce
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 1/2 c. flour

Combine first 4 ingredients well. Add flour with dry ingredients and blend well. More fruit and nuts can be added as desired for a more tasty bread. Pour in greased loaf pans. 350 degrees, 40 minutes.
