YEAST ROLLS 
1 pkg. powdered yeast
1 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. soft shortening (Crisco, butter flavor is very good)

Dissolve yeast in water. Add rest; hand mix. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Grease muffin tins. Spoon in 1/2 full. Let rise another 20 to 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. I mix these up before church and let rise while gone. When I get home, I put in muffin tins, let rise and cook per directions.
