ISLANDER SPARERIBS 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. soy sauce
3-4 lb. Country Style ribs

Place ribs in 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all other ingredients together in 1 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat to boil. Lower temperature and simmer for 20 minutes. When ribs are done after the 45 minutes, pour off fat. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Pour sauce over ribs and bake an additional 45-50 minutes. Baste several times throughout. Cut into 1 inch portions.
