CHEESY ONION CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. butter
6 med. sliced onions
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
12 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
French bread loaf, sliced in 1-inch slices
Melted butter

Melt 1/2 cup butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook until tender, stirring often. Put onions in buttered 2-quart casserole. In a bowl combine soup, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onion.

Sprinkle with cheese. Dip bread slices in butter on one side. Arrange slices butter-side UP over onion mixture to cover completely. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Great at outdoor cookouts.
