BAKED CHICKEN AND DRESSING 
3-5 lbs. chicken

Cover with water and cook. Remove meat from bones. Put chicken in bottom of 8 1/2 x 13 inch baking dish. Make gravy from broth. Make 2 cups of gravy (thicken broth with cornstarch) for gravy. Place gravy on the layered chicken. Put dressing on top of chicken. Bake at 350 degrees until browned, about 30 minutes. Serves 10-12. Serve with remaining gravy. May be frozen and baked when needed.

Use favorite dressing recipe. I make my dressing from loaf bread, eggs, salt, pepper, onions, celery (sage to taste) and broth from chicken. This is the recipe I use for Senior Citizens Dinners!
