OLD FASHIONED CREAMY RICE
PUDDING
 
1/2 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. seedless raisins, if desired

Combine all ingredients in top of double boiler. Cook, covered, over boiling water until rice is tender and milk is almost absorbed, 1 hour, stirring frequently. Serve warm. Serves 6-8 people.

All gone! Maple syrup did it in. Double boiler and 1 hour, but worth it.
