COCONUT PIE 
1 can southern coconut or 1 grated coconut, save milk
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk or coconut milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash nutmeg
Pinch salt

Beat sugar and eggs well; add milk, coconut, vanilla, salt. Mix only until blended. Turn in shell; sprinkle with nutmeg, then dot with butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minute, then 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
