SUPERB CRANBERRY BREAD 
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Resift together.

Cream:

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. orange juice (or prune or apricot juice)

Add boiling water to 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening to make 3/4 cup liquid.

Blend all ingredients and add 1 cup chopped cranberries and blend.

Place in greased loaf pan.
