LIMA BEAN ONION CASSEROLE 
2 boxes frozen lima beans, cooked
1/2 to 1 stick butter
1 med. onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup (add a little water to thin soup)
Cheddar cheese, grated, or bread crumbs

Melt butter. Add onions and peppers. In a 2 or 3-quart casserole dish, place butter, pepper mixture, soup, water or milk, and beans. Stir well. Sprinkle top with cheese or bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until soup is hot.
