OKRA CREOLE 
2 dozen tender okra pods
1 sm. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 sm. green pepper, minced
2 tbsp. butter or bacon drippings
2 fresh tomatoes (coarsely chopped)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cut ends from okra pods. Saute onion, garlic and green pepper in butter for about 6 minutes. Add tomatoes, okra and seasoning; simmer for 10 minutes or until okra is tender. 6 servings.
