SAUSAGE RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 lg. bunch green onions, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 1/2 stalk celery 1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced 1 1/2 lbs. sausage (hot and mild) 1 c. rice 1 box Lipton noodle soup 4 1/2 c. water Brown sausage until crumbly. Add onion, pepper, celery and water chestnuts. Saute until tender. Bring water to a boil and add Lipton soup. Cook for 7 minutes. Add rice and cook for 10 minutes more. Pour into sausage that is in a 2-quart baking dish. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
