GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lg. can French cut green beans, drained
2 slices American cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can Durkee French fried onion rings

Place drained green beans in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Break cheese slices into strips and place over green beans. Pour mushroom soup over all. Bake at 350 degrees until soup bubbles around edges. Remove from oven and sprinkle onion rings on top. Return to oven just long enough to let onion rings brown.

This can also be made with canned asparagus spears instead of green beans.
