SUNDAE CAKE | |
Yellow cake mix Cool Whip Ice cream (any flavor) 2 (8 or 9-inch) round cake pans 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts or peanuts Follow directions on box and make and bake yellow cake. Cake must be baked in 2 round cake pans. Cool cake completely, then cut both cakes horizontally through the middle. Place one part of cake on cake plate, then place generous amount of ice cream (softened) on cake and spread, then place another part of cake on top and repeat the process until all 4 parts are done, except top of cake. Spread Cool Whip over entire cake, covering it completely. Then sprinkle nuts on top of cake. Now serve. Leftover cake must be stored in freezer. |
