FRUIT BARS 
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. nuts
2 c. glazed fruits
2 c. dates
1/2 c butter

Melt butter; sift dry ingredients over fruits. Beat eggs, beat in melted butter and add to fruit mixture.

Bake in two 8 x 8 inch pans for about 30 minutes. Cut in squares and roll in powdered sugar.
