1 box yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 box vanilla instant pudding
1 c. coconut
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix cake as on box in 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. While cake bakes, simmer pineapple and sugar.

When cake is done and still hot, poke holes in it and spread hot pineapple over cake; let cool.

Mix pudding; add coconut and spread over pineapple. Let set a little while. Spread Cool Whip over pudding and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
