ANGEL PIE | |
2 egg whites 1/2 tsp. vinegar 2/3 c. sugar 1 pkg. My-T-Fine lemon pie filling 1/2 pt. whipping cream Beat egg whites and vinegar until almost stiff and then add sugar very slowly until all sugar is dissolved. Don't worry if it is a little granular. Put brown paper on bottom of 9x9 inch pan and spread the meringue on paper. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Turn oven off and let cool in oven. Cook pudding according to directions on package and let cool. Spread whipped cream in a thin layer on top of meringue and then pie filling and then a large layer of whipped cream. |
