HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
2 lb. beef chuck cut into 1 inch pieces 4 tsp. hot fat 1 sm. clove garlic, minced 1/4 c. + 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. brown sugar 2 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. sliced onion 3/4 c. catsup 1 tsp. vinegar 2 tsp. salt Dash red pepper Brown beef in hot fat. Add remaining ingredients and 3 cups water. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Thicken with 2 tablespoons flour in 1/4 cup water. Cook 3 cups egg noodles. Serve goulash over noodles. |
