4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened baking chocolate 2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar Egg substitute to equal 4 eggs (eg. "Eggbeaters") Dash of salt 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour Pecans-Walnuts (optional) Powdered sugar Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan over low heat. Stir in the sugar. Pour in the egg substitute and blend thoroughly with wooden spoon or spatula. (If using real eggs, add them one at a time, stirring well after each.) Stir in dash of salt, the 2 teaspoons vanilla, and finally the 1 cup flour. Add nuts if desired. Pour mixture from saucepan into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean). When cool, dust top with powdered sugar. |
