FLYING SAUCER COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. honey
2 tsp. milk
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Soak raisins in hot water, then drain. Add ingredients as listed.

Use 1/4 cup of the batter and flatten with glass dipped in water. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 12 cookies.
