PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 lg. box vanilla wafers

Grease an 11"x9"x2" pan with butter. Crush vanilla wafers and put 3/4 of them in bottom of pan and press firmly.

FILLING:

1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
3 eggs

Mix together butter, vanilla and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat until smooth. Spread filling on top of crumb mixture. Drain a large can of crushed pineapple and spread pineapple on top of filling. Slice 3 large bananas and place evenly on top of pineapple. Spread 1 (8 oz.) container of lite whipped topping on top of bananas. Sprinkle 1/4 wafer crumbs on top and refrigerate. This keeps well.
