MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 3 c. sugar 6 whole eggs 4 c. plain flour 3/4 c. sweet milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1/2 tsp. lemon extract Have butter at room temperature. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, two at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add milk and flour in thirds, beating well. Add flavoring. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours in tube pan. |
