CHOCO CARAMEL SQUARES | |
50 caramels or a 14 oz. pkg. 1/3 c. evaporated milk German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. butter, melted 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. chocolate chips Melt together caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Set aside. Stir together dry cake mix, butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of cake mixture in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chips and nuts over cakes. Spread caramel mixture over. (Keep caramel mix warm and it pours better.) Put remaining cake mixture on top by dropping on with a teaspoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes. |
