BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 lg. pork chops
1/4 tsp. instant garlic powder
2 1/2 tsp. salt as to taste
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1 c. beef stock (or bouillon cube dissolved in 1 c. water)
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1 bay leaf
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water

Mix garlic powder, salt and pepper and rub on chops that have been trimmed of excess fat. Brown and place in baking dish. Add beef stock and vinegar and bay leaf. Cover and bake in preheated oven 325 degrees for 1 hour or until chops are tender.

Mix flour and water and add to liquid in dish. Mix well and cook uncovered for 20 minutes or less.
