APPLE DUMPLINGS 
Peel and core 4 or 5 apples. Use canned biscuits. Take one biscuit, roll out flat. Use 1/2 or less apple. Place in center of biscuit. Place a little cinnamon and a little butter on apple. Wrap apple, butter and cinnamon really well with dough. Place wrapped apples in long baking dish.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and boil 5 minutes. Take off and add 1/2 stick butter. Pour sauce over apples and bake 30 to 45 minutes in 375 degree oven.
