1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 lg. egg
1 1/2 c. applesauce
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Combine all ingredients. Put in 9"x13" pan. top with: 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter Chopped nuts

Mix thoroughly and sprinkle over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
