QUICK AND EASY NUTTY CHEESE BARS 
1 Duncan Hines butter recipe golden cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts, divided
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
9 x 13 inch rectangular baking pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix dry cake mix, butter, and 3/4 cup nuts together. Press into pan; cover bottom evenly. Stir together 1 cup brown sugar, 2 packages cream cheese. Spread over the cake mix mixture. Sprinkle remaining nuts over this. Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges are browned and cheese topping is set. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
