APPLE SPICE RICE 
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup long grain rice
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 garlic clove minced
1 apple peeled cored and diced
1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Melt butter. Stir in rice, onion, garlic and apples. Sauté for 4 mins. Stir in chicken broth. Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer. 20 mins. until juice is absorbed.
