BUTTERSCOTCH CREAM PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla1 tsp. burnt sugar flavoring

Mix dry ingredients in bowl with whisk. Add 3 egg yolks and one cup of milk and whisk until smooth. Add other two cups of milk and again whisk until smooth. Cook in microwave about 7 minutes, stirring a couple of times during cooking time. When thickened remove from microwave and add butter and flavorings and whisk until butter is melted. Pour into baked 9 inch pie shell. Use egg whites for meringue, adding 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake meringue in 400 degree oven until golden brown.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
