1 lb. hamburger 1 lb. bacon, crumbled 2 onions, diced 2 (No. 2) cans pork and beans 2 (No. 2) cans butter beans, drained 2 (No. 2) cans pinto beans, drained 3/4 to 1 c. barbecue sauce 1/4 c. catsup 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tsp. dry mustard Brown hamburger; drain. Fry bacon and cook onion until soft. Combine all ingredients and marinate for 24 hours or overnight. Cook for 40 minutes at 300 degrees. This recipe works well in the crock pot. Let it simmer in the crock pot 40 minutes or so, after being heated in the oven. |
