FROSTED FRUIT MOLD | |
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lime Jello 2 (7 oz.) bottles lemon lime carbonated beverage, chilled 2 (8 3/4 oz.) cans crushed pineapple 2 med. bananas, peeled & sliced 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping (or more) 1 egg, slightly beaten Sharp cheese, shredded 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water; cool. Slowly add carbonated beverage. Chill until partially set. Drain pineapple reserving syrup. Fold drained pineapple and bananas into Jello. Pour into 8 x 11 inch dish. Chill until firm. Combine sugar and pour in saucepan and stir in reserved syrup and egg. Cook and stir over low heat until thickened; chill. Fold whipped topping into egg mixture. Spread over Jello. Sprinkle with cheeses. |
