1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. peanut butter
16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (real)

Cream together peanut butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Spread on buttered 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Microwave about 5 minutes on 2/3 power and 4 minutes on high or full power (325 degrees for 20-25 minutes).

Combine remaining peanut butter and chocolate chips in dish. Melt 2 1/2 minutes on 2/3 power. Spread over bars and cut while warm.

Note: Be sure to use real chocolate chips as the imitation may contain wax which will not melt in the microwave.
