BUTTERGEBACKENES 
9 oz. butter
9 oz. sugar
18 oz. flour
8 egg yolks
Grated lemon skin

Put all ingredients together in a big bowl. Knead everything together until you get a smooth dough. Put the dough ball in aluminum foil into the refrigerator overnight.

Roll out the dough to 2 inches, cut it with different cookie cutters. Spread egg yolk on top of the cookies. Bake it at 400 degrees until golden brown. (Also very good as Christmas cookies.)
