PERSIMMON COOKIE 
1 c. persimmon pulp
2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. each cloves
Nutmeg and cinnamon

Cream sugar and shortening. Add fruit and spices to flour, then add to creamed mixture. Beat egg and add to pulp. Add to flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Drop on greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees 10 to 15 minutes.
